Hair Extensions

Make every day a good hair day

What are Beaded Weft Extensions

You’ll often hear them referred to as Hand-Tied Extensions, but the hand-tied actually refers to the type of hair installed. The Method to install is called a Beaded Weft. Here I use the JZ Styles Method of a silicone-lined bead, cotton string and your hair to create a base for the Hand-tied or what we call J-Tied weft to be attached.

How are they Installed

I offer 2 different types of install methods, the JZ Base and the Hidden Bead Method. Your natural hair will be pulled through Silicone Lined beads and attached with a thread to create a sturdy foundation for the J-Tied or Machine wefts to be stitched into. These “rows’ of hair go from around ear to ear depending on your head shape and density and they lie in the same direction your natural hair falls, making them appear seamless and natural.

How Many Rows will I need

Everyone’s needs will differ based on their Hair Goals. Here is a generalized guideline.

1 Row- for adding fullness and no more than a couple inches in length.

2 Rows-is the most popular, for adding fullness and a noticeable amount of length.

3 Rows/Combo Method-if you are growing out a short haircut, or have naturally thick and dense hair then a third row or tape-ins will be needed to match the current amounts of hair for a seamless blend.

How Long Does the hair last

The JZ Hair will last anywhere from 9-12 months with proper care. How long they last for each individual really depends on your lifestyle, how often you wash them, and what products you use. But don’t worry, with your first instillation I’ll send you home with a hair care kit full of goodies to get you started!
